The thing that got me completely addicted to the game, rather than Counter strike, is the team aspect of the game. This is a thing i got really spoiled with on the 95thRifles servers. -Almost all other servers i have visited there MIGHT be a player trying to get the players working together, on the 95th, most people are trying to work together, and this is one of the things people compliment our clan on most.

As you see in the picture (if you look closely ;) -ill get better pictures up.) there´s flags that needs to be "capped", and on most maps, there are from 3-5 flags, and at least one of them need two men to "cap" it. -When all the flags are capped, the game ends, and you begin over. Or the map is based on objectives, F.X the Allies have to protect a gas truck, and a fuel dump, and the axis have a specific ammount of time to capture the objectives....-Each map is played normally for 30-35 minutes, and then we go on to the next map in the rotation. Each time you get killed, you wait about 10 seconds, and you respawn in a certain area of the map, and you can try a different tactic to stay alive. New players will certainly get killed more than experienced players, but this will get better as you learn the game... ;) 

But as i said, there could be an enemy in every crack, every window, and so on, so in the beginning i got killed, and i didnt even see it coming. but you quicly learn where to keep an eye out.. remember,this is virtual war!!

COMMUNICATION: In this game, like most others, communication within the team is eccencial. -We warn eachother of where the enemy is, and try to help eachother out as best we can.. -as long as the team wins, how many times we kill an enemy or get killed is of no importance...

-To this end we mostly all use headsets with microphones attached, or as i do, have a microphone on the desk in front of me. -This can be a little intimidating for non english players, but it is not a requirement to play the game, it only makes the game that little bit better.....What am i saying.. a WHOLE lot better... ;)

These pictures are from the upcoming new source engine for DOD, with better graphics, sound, and such, but itll still give you an idea of the game....

Another thing that makes the game fun for me, is -of course- the fact that i meet people from all over the world that are just as addicted as me LOL. Many of us meet up via net and chatter whenever we have a chance, and i have to say that i concider the members of my internet clan as friends, although we never met. Again i will pull out the [95th]Rifles motto: We fight as a family, we win as a team. -Whenever someone has a hard time, there is always someone there to pick them up. -if you ask these guys for advise or help, they´ll be there.. regardless... thanx guys... -appreciate it...
